What if I have a dental emergency when the office is closed?
If you are a patient of record, call 864.627.9111 and the answering service will page Dr. Schoen.
Can I use my dental insurance?

When is payment for services due?
Payment is due on day of service. We will kindly complete and file all insurance claims for you.
I’m a new patient, where can I download new patient forms?
At the moment, our new patient forms are not online. However, we will be uploading them shortly. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
What kind of payment options do I have?
We have several payment options to help meet your dental needs. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks or cash. For more information on fees and payment, visit our Affordable Financing page.
Why does my insurance company say it will cover 100% of my costs, but they don’t?
Although insurance companies say the coverage is 100%, their “reasonable and customary” fees may be atypical for the area, based on a contracted provider, or just outdated.
Which insurance providers do you contract with?
As a courtesy to to our patients, we file with all insurances with the exception of Medicaid and Medicare.
Do you offer sedation?
Our entire team is dedicated to putting all of our patients at ease. With the advanced technologies at our disposal, we do offer oral sedation care when needed.
