Dr. Stephen Schoen’s passion is to restore broken teeth and smiles to their natural beauty and function. From the simple to the complex, his Prosthodontic specialty training and 30+ years of practice experience have allowed him to accomplish this for many of his patients.

In 1978, Dr. Schoen graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois Benedictine College. He attended Loyola University School of Dentistry where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1982, and joined the United States Air Force where he practiced General Dentistry. In 1991, he was selected to attend a residency in the specialty of Prosthodontics at the Medical College of Georgia. He received a certificate in the specialty of Prosthodontics in 1993. In 1995, he separated from the USAF as a Lieutenant Colonel and settled with his wife, Lori, and their five children in Greenville, SC.

Lisa has been a Registered Dental Assistant for over 40 years. She obtained her Registered Dental Assistant License from the State of California in 1983. Lisa is part of our team in the capacity of Office Manager, which allows her the opportunity to coordinate your care from your first phone call to the completion of your treatment. Her warm generous spirit & infectious laughter makes each and every one comfortable from the moment she answers the phone, and making you feel right at home when you are at our office. Lisa’s vast knowledge of all aspects of dentistry has made her a valuable member of our team. In her spare time when she is not here, you will find her spending time with her loving family, close friends, her siberian huskies, and riding in her jeep!

Patty has been a Dental Assistant with Dr. Schoen for over 10 years. She is very knowledgeable, and assist’s Dr. Schoen in various areas of dentistry and strives to give you the highest quality personal care. Patty is dedicated to make you as comfortable as possible during your dental treatment. Patty’s knowledge of Prosthodontics makes her a valuable asset to our team.

Our Team at Lighthouse Restorative Dentistry is VERY excited to Welcome back Heather! Heather is a previous Team Member that worked here from 2012-2015. She is Dr. Schoen’s main chairside assistant. She is a warm and caring young professional, and our patients can always count on her upbeat attitude, smiling face, and commitment to exceptional patient care! She has been a Dental Assistant for 20+ years, and has many years of surgical experience, and has certifications in Implants, Nitrous Monitoring, and PRF Procedures. When she is not at the office, you can find Heather kayaking with her husband Adam, or at home with her granddaughter, dogs, gardening, and raising chickens!
